Django Rhythm formed in 1991 out of common love for the music of Django Reinhardt, Stephaine Grapelli and the Hot Club of France. The music is often referred to as Gypsy jazz due to its blend of American and European jazz. The band has been performing regularly as a trio comprising accordion, double bass and acoustic guitar but can also extend or interchange with vocals, Saxophone and Violin.

Django Rhythm can easily adapt to outdoor or indoor performances, acoustic or amplified as well as roving. The repertoire ranges from old jazz standards, Django Reinhardt Songbook to French waltzes and Boleros.
