Taso studied music at the Brisbane Conservatorium of Music, and Melbourne University, before completing his Bachelor of Music Degree at the Victorian College of the Arts majoring in Classical Guitar Performance.

In 2002 he was awarded the Prestigious Austral Salon Scholarship for his achievement in excellence as a concert performer in Victoria. In 2000 Taso also studied voice with Antonio Lancuba at the AML Golden Voice Studios, and in 2002 joined the Melbourne Opera where he performed in various productions as a tenor.

In 2004 Taso found his passion for Songwriting, and has since been signed to the Melodic Music label under the management of Sam Panetta. In 2014 Taso released his first Debut Single on I-Tunes “Rolling In The Dark”, with a second single soon to be released of his upcoming EP.

TASO is known for his powerful vocals and energetic live shows, and is currently making an impact on the Melbourne Live Music acoustic and pop scene.

Over the last 15 years Taso has played countless weddings, private functions, and exclusive VIP events around many of Melbourne’s most well known venues such as:
Chapel off Chapel, The National Gallery of Victoria, Yarra Valley and Red Hill wineries, The Parliament House, The Athenaeum Theatre, Botanical Gardens, The Melbourne Museum, County Court of Victoria, The Australian Club, Mornington Yacht Club, The Rialto Tower, 101 Collins, The Sofitel, The Hilton Southbank, Crown Casino, The Gables, Butleigh Wootton, Nine Darling Street, Rippon Lea Estate, and has been a resident musician at the Government House, the RACV Club in the city, and the Marina Mirage and 5 star Versace Hotel on the Gold Coast.

Taso has also played for many notable patrons including performances for the Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. Kevin Rudd, Victorian Premier John Brumby, Labor Party’s Bill Shorten, and international business identity Mr. Rupert Murdoch.
