When you suggested that Dan Melita might well suit our wedding last Saturday night you were absolutely right.
Dan and his trio were fantastic.
The dance floor was full all night whenever they played and our guests, of all ages, really enjoyed their music.
With some delay on the night with food service, Dan played many extra songs and went later than planned as The Pavilion stayed open later than initially scheduled. Dan was really helpful in every way and fitted in really easily with the MC and the venue on the night and beforehand with everything that we asked of him. He really is terrific and has a great feel for his audience. So many told us how much they enjoyed the music – especially many of my nieces and nephews who could be called hard critics at the best of times.
I have no doubt quite a few would be dancing still if Dan stayed and the venue was still open.
Given ages ranging from early twenties to late sixties and early seventies, being able to get so many on the dance floor all night was really something.
In short, your suggestion of Dan and his trio was brilliant.
